We had our friend, Jackson, over to play and decided to do some activities that would appeal to him more than princesses or barbies (although he enjoyed those too). The first thing that we did was create a road using sentence strips that I had from when I was teaching. We created bridges, loops, and straight roads by taping the sentence strips to the floor. I drew dotted lines on the strips to create the look of a street. The kids then built a gas station, school, stores, etc along the sides of the roads. They then took some cars and went driving around town!

Not too shabby....we kept it up for about 5 days or so. Thankfully my husband doesn't mind my crazy kid projects all over the house! |

I think there was some negotiating going on here |
What do you want to do next? ART! Of course that is the answer. So we decided to paint with cars! What fun! What a mess!! Lila and Jackson each had special cars that were not allowed to go in paint and they put them up high where Sophia would not touch them!
